Rhonda began her nursing career in 1986. She started working as a Geriatric Nurse Practitioner in 2009 and went on to further her education, graduating as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in 2015.
Rhonda enjoys caring for mental illness in older adults. She specializes in treating dementia and is passionate about finding medication solutions to help individuals with dementia remain in their homes longer.
With dual emphasis in both geriatric and psychiatric care, Rhonda brings a unique skillset to treating mental illness in the context of an individual’s complete diagnosis and medication list. She is dedicated to spending time with her patients to ensure each person receives the quality of care they deserve.
Rhonda works with adults over the age of 65.

Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
Crystal has over a decade of experience in psychiatric nursing, including 10 years of inpatient care for adult and geriatric patients. She joined Norfolk Behavioral Health as a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner after graduating with honors from Frontier Nursing University.
Crystal provides care to children, adults, and older adults with a wide range of mental health concerns, including mood disorders, psychosis, anxiety, and addiction. She is passionate about screening, prevention, and recovery, and takes a holistic approach to care—considering physical, emotional, and social well-being in every treatment plan.
Tonya Voecks, APRN, MSN, PMHNP-BC, PMH-C
Certified in Perinatal Mental Health | Fellowship in Integrative and Functional Psychiatry
Tonya has over 20 years of experience in nursing and began practicing as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in 2015. Her focus has always been on patient well-being—taking the time to listen, educate, and create treatment plans that are realistic, supportive, and effective.
She is passionate about helping women navigate hormonal shifts such as pregnancy, postpartum, perimenopause, and menopause. Tonya also treats adolescents and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, mood disorders, and personality disorders. She takes a holistic approach to mental health using a combination of psychiatric medication, supplements, nutrition, movement, and therapy strategies.
Tonya specializes in working with individuals ages 14 to 65.
